Our Story
Magna's Market started the way most vendor tables do: as collectors who went to too many card shows and couldn't stop buying binders. Along the way we became vendors ourselves — setting up at shows across NoVA, DC, and Maryland, buying collections, and selling singles.
Running a vendor table means making split-second decisions: Is this card worth buying? What's it actually selling for right now? Which cards in this set actually matter? The existing apps were slow, cluttered with ads, or didn't work without cell signal — which at most card show venues is terrible.
So we built our own tools. What started as a private price checker became a full suite — live price lists, master set checklists, stock ledgers, and set symbol guides for both Pokémon and Magic. We use them at every show we vend. And we give them away free at magnasmarket.com, because tools that help collectors make good decisions make the hobby better for everyone.
What We Sell
We sell Pokémon TCG and Magic: The Gathering singles, from modern sets through select vintage, at our table at card shows — and soon right here on this website.
Every card we sell is condition-graded — Near Mint, Lightly Played, Moderately Played, Heavily Played, or Damaged — using the same standards as the major marketplaces, so a grade from us means what you expect it to mean. Pokémon singles cover all print styles, from regular reverse holos to illustration rares; Magic singles come in nonfoil and foil.
Because we price with tools we built ourselves, our prices are based on real market data — not guesses, and not markups hoping you didn't check.
Find Us at Card Shows
We vend and attend shows throughout the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. Stop by the table to browse binders, trade, or just talk shop — we'd love to hear how you're using the tools and what features you'd like next.
Why "Magna's Market"?
We're not a large corporation or a venture-backed startup. We're a vendor table at card shows who happens to know how to build web tools. That's the whole business model: fair prices, honestly graded cards, useful tools, and a hello at every show.
