About the Pokémon TCG Master Checklist
The Pokémon TCG Master Checklist is a comprehensive collection tracker for every Pokémon TCG set. Browse any set and see every card listed with its name, number, rarity, type, and variant information. Check off cards as you acquire them, search for specific cards by name, and track your collection progress with a visual completion ring.
Whether you're working on completing a master set of Pitch Black (ME05), hunting for every holo in 151 (SV03.5), or trying to catalog your entire collection across multiple expansions, this tool keeps track of what you have and what you still need. The checklist covers all modern Pokémon TCG sets and is updated regularly as new sets release.
How to Use the Checklist
Select a set from the dropdown at the top to load its full card list. Each card is displayed with its collector number, name, rarity, and variant type (Normal, Reverse, Holo, or First Edition). Click the checkbox next to a card to mark it as owned. Your progress is tracked in real time with a completion ring showing what percentage of the set you've collected.
Use the search bar to quickly find specific cards by name — useful for large sets with hundreds of cards. You can also filter by rarity to see only rares, holos, or commons. When you're done, use the Export CSV button to save your checklist progress to a file. This is especially useful if you're tracking multiple sets or want to share your collection with others.
Pokémon TCG Set Structure
Each Pokémon TCG set contains a mix of commons, uncommons, rares, and holographic cards. Modern sets typically include 100-200+ cards, with special illustration rares and ultra rares being the most sought-after. The set code (like ME05 or SV08) identifies which expansion a card belongs to — this is printed on the card itself, usually near the bottom right.
Variants matter for collectors. A single card may exist in Normal (non-holo), Reverse Holo, Holo, and First Edition versions, each with different rarity and value. This checklist shows all available variants so you can track each one individually. The Pokémon Top 25 Price Tracker complements this checklist by showing current market values for the most expensive cards in each set.
Collection Tracking at Card Shows
Bring this checklist to card shows and conventions to keep track of what you already own and what you're looking for. Before the show, load the sets you're collecting and mark off the cards you have. At the show, reference the checklist to see which cards you still need. The search function makes it easy to quickly check if a vendor has a card you're missing.
Your checklist state is saved in your browser session, so it persists across page refreshes. However, clearing your browser data will reset your progress. Always use Export CSV to back up your collection before clearing cookies or switching browsers.
Data Source
Card data is provided by TCGdex, a free and open-source Pokémon TCG database. TCGdex maintains comprehensive data on all Pokémon TCG cards including variants, rarities, images, and pricing. The data is community-maintained and regularly updated as new sets are released. Variant information comes from TCGdex's printed-variant data, which tracks Normal, Reverse, Holo, and First Edition printings across all sets.
